Morning Practice for Circulating Qi

Releasing stagnation and restoring vital flow.

Good Morning!

Do you ever wake up stiff, groggy, or simply have difficulty returning to yourself? This is especially common in the winter, the time of year when muscles and qi can get stuck from lack of mobility — how muscle tension begins.

This gentle yet energizing morning practice is designed to wake up the body, release muscle stiffness, and restore a sense of vitality and inner harmony.

You’ll move through grounding warm-ups, joint opening, light shaking (great for stress relief, too), and classic qigong forms such as Lifting the Sky, and Draw the Bow to Shoot the Arrow to activate circulation and lift overall energy. The practice supports both yin and yang channels, helping to release while remaining soft and accessible for sensitive bodies. Ideal for mornings when you want to feel more awake, centered, and alive without pushing or forcing.

Practice Focus: awaken qi, release stagnation, stimulate and energize vitality #Qigong #MorningPractice #NervousSystemSupport #EnergyPractice #SoftHuman

This brief routine is perfect for busy schedules, and for those of you who prefer a shorter taste of qigong. Let me know how it goes in the comments.
