I love this. Thank you. Yes…Maybe not rest is needed but the right kind of activity. Each person is unique in how to rebalance during a downtime cycle.

My husband is a manifesting generator as well and for him restorative time= being social and active. For me, a generator with an open emotional center (that’s all I recall of HD), well…that’s not me.

But we find ways to cohabitate. I was just talking about going kayaking, this morning. It’s something he forgets to do for himself, and something I tend to think I don’t need… but sitting in a boat in the water is perfect for me at this time. I just let him do all the work!

For me, Spring is my lowest energy time. It feels like an “in between” time of little activity (after the high energy winter holidays and before the outdoor activities of summer).

For me, “scheduling rest” isn’t quite enough. I have to do enough activity during the day in order to deplete my energy so I can sleep well and recharge. Such is the life of the Manifesting Generator 🙄. And with spring often being rainy or windy here in TX, getting out to do our activity of choice (kayak fishing) often doesn’t happen, leaving me with a bunch of unburned energy and sleepless nights.

Even though I know this, it took reading your words to remind me of what’s going on inside. Time to find an alternate activity to wear me out during the spring season 😊
